Digital communication of a tree nursery
Trees contribute to healthy air quality, absorb sound, bring temperatures down and, of course, embellish the city, but have you ever thought about who decides to plant them and why?
Belloch Forestal invites us to understand the importance of their role in the choice of trees in our cities.
Belloch is a place, a farm, a book... but above all Belloch Forestal is a nursery specialized in urban trees. It offers both trees that it produces, as well as plants selected from the most important European nurseries. At the same time it provides the customer with comprehensive technical advice service on the most suitable species for each project.

Before the project, the company had a basic website, which it decided to revamp to showcase what they do in detail and, at the same time, sharing its knowledge.
For this, I teamed up with Sisón Pujol and we studied the competition, identified common specifier profiles and the key messages to include.
We also reviewed the mission, vision, values of the company, its products, as well as differentiating concepts that helped to articulate the message of Belloch Forestal.
We define a specifier-focused digital communication with a structure that makes choosing from Belloch’s arboreal and herbaceous products easy
The main challenge of the project has been to promote simplicity and usability to make the work of the specifier -unfamiliar with the digital environment- as easy as possible.
There were two challenges to meet: to bring together the original catalogue of trees “ Canon de Belloch ” and some urban design elements (benches, drinking fountains, streetlights…) into a sleek, chic easy to use website.
Therefore, we suggested a corporate website that is halfway between a blog and a product catalogue, where the informative content plays a major role. The work ends with the delivery of the sitemap, briefing and functionalities to be taken into account for Nomon design to develop the project.
