Arquia Banca—originally founded as Caja de Arquitectos in 1983—is a Spanish financial institution closely tied to the architecture sector.

Over time, the company has evolved, broadening its scope while maintaining its specialization and commitment to architecture as the central part of its identity.
In 2012, it was rebranded as Arquia Banca to reflect a more modern and open image.

Arquia Banca has connected to the world of architecture not only through specific products and services but also by taking what could be called “architectural approach” to the design of their communications: balancing form & function.

This sensitivity—uncommon in the banking sector—is once again evident in the recent project to update its Brand Book (a document with the all the brand’s essential guidelines to ensure its identity is communicated consistently across all channels and touchpoints).

The project consisted in gathering and assessing all collaterals, and then updating, modernizing and aligning them to create a foundation for a coherent brand image. This  went far beyond cleaning things up and getting things organized, but also bringing in new elements, like a color-coding system to differentiate between various client segments and an updated icon library, among others.

With this brand book we have created an essential building block in the company’s success, and with we are ensuring the brand’s consistency and effectiveness in an increasingly competitive market.
